The CHEST Foundation’s Ambassadors Group

Volunteering. Educating. Networking.

Dedicated to "volunteering, educating, and networking" on behalf of The CHEST Foundation, the Ambassadors Group supports the mission of The CHEST Foundation to advance the prevention and treatment of diseases of the chest. Ambassadors support The CHEST Foundation’s educational focus on tobacco prevention by presenting The Foundation’s Lung Lessonssm program in schools within their communities. They support the Ambassador’s Group $5,000 Humanitarian Award through successful fundraising efforts.

Membership in the Ambassadors Group is open to ACCP members, their spouses, and friends, including high school and college-age youth. A valuable benefit of membership in the Ambassadors Group is complimentary guest registration (valued at $75) for CHEST 2010, if dues are paid by October 1. All Ambassadors are invited to attend CHEST 2010 to participate in the Annual Global Outreach Tea, the third year of the Celebrating Our Diversity" presentations in the Hospitality and Information Room, and the Annual Open Meeting to learn about the accomplishments of the group over the past year. There is no charge for Ambassadors to participate in these activities.
