Comprehensive Curriculum.

The rich curriculum at CHEST 2010 includes a robust range of topics relevant to chest medicine, so you can easily find sessions to match your clinical interests and needs. More than 30 clinical areas are included in the ACCP Education Curriculum.

The CHEST 2010 education format is evolving and changing to keep pace with your education needs. Look for these meeting enhancements, designed to increase educational impact.

New Meeting Start Day With More Education. General education sessions will begin Sunday, October 31, 1 day sooner than previous years, to add a day of learning opportunities.

Postgraduate Multipass Courses. Registration for a postgraduate course will allow you a multipass to any postgraduate course and access to all electronic materials. Custom build a postgraduate course day suited to your education needs. Get details.

Clinical Care-Focused Tracks. Intensive study will be offered in pulmonary arterial hypertension, interventional pulmonology, COPD, and advanced ultrasonography on Thursday, November 4, so you can immerse yourself in a focused clinical area. Get details.

Unique features, proven to help advance your clinical knowledge and patient care skills, will be back by demand. Take advantage of learning opportunities exclusive to CHEST 2010.

ACCP Simulation Center. Enhance your cognitive, technical, and behavioral skills in a hands-on, clinical environment. Simulation exercises will be conducted in seven clinical areas. Get details.

  • The Clinical Resource Center and Experience ACCP will feature hands-on opportunities and presentations to enrich the education sessions. Get details.
  • The ACCP Self-study Clinical Library will feature PCCSU articles, minisessions from CHEST 2010 topic submissions, and other learning resources to be completed for additional CME credits. Get details.
  • e-Posters presenting original research will be accessible online. In addition, posters in the Poster Grand Rounds area will be on display for viewing.

Diversity of Instructional Methods. Sessions will be categorized into six ACCP Learning Categories to specify the instructional methods used. You can easily identify and choose sessions that fit your learning style and educational goals.

Global.
